I have retired from the practice of law. A special thank you to all my
clients that have made my practice successful over the years.
As a semi-retired Lawyer, I take a limited number of clients, so that I can serve those clients with the care and attention they deserve.
I am a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and the Western Michigan T.M. Cooley Law School. I graduated Law School Magna Cum Laude and served on the Law Review and the Honor Council. While in law school, I externed with Barnes and Thornburg, LLP, (Corporate Law/Aviation) and Interned with the Access to Justice Clinic (Family Law/General Civil).
I run what is called a "virtual" law practice. I primarily work out of my home office, visits clients in their homes, and also have use of office space in the Waters Building in downtown Grand Rapids and other locations throughout Western Michigan. I maintain all my files electronically and after the culmination of your matter, all paper copies are shredded. By not maintaining the overhead of a full-time office, I am able to pass that savings on to you.
I am licensed to practice law in all state courts in Michigan, the United States Federal District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
I focus on you and your family. It is my goal to be "your family attorney", whether it is for the unexpected defense of a criminal or civil charge, or planning for your future, and your children's future.
